How can I save money on my heat treating costs?
At Heat Treating, Inc. we strive to keep our prices as low as possible and help our customers meet their goals. We're happy to consult with you on any job. Often, we can reduce costs by running more parts at a time.
Why do you charge for delivery?
We charge for delivery because we want to be fair to all of our customers. Some customers are located close by or drop off their jobs. Others are farther away and request pick up and delivery services. We're happy to do that, but we have to maintain a truck and pay for fuel and a driver. We want to pass those costs on to customers in the most fair way possible.
How do you calculate pricing for jobs?
Job pricing includes the end to end process required for each particular job. This can include loading, heating, quenching, straightening, blasting, etc. We also include quality control checks and processes. Some of these costs are pretty much fixed regardless of size or quantity of parts. Therefore, we can usually provide lower unit prices on larger quantity jobs.
